This document specifies safety requirements and their verification for combustion-engine-powered ride-on (seated) rotary lawnmowers and cylinder lawnmowers and equipped with metallic cutting means and/or non-metallic cutting means. With amendment 2 requirements in 4.5.1 for cutting means enclosure guards have been added. Furthermore editorial changes in subclauses 4.6.2 and 7.1.2 were made.
